Hyde Park Property Management needed a promotional item to be placed in offices at University of Chicago, tacked to bulletin boards, and distributed throughout the community. The company wanted to showcase its furnished units, highlight the 28 convenient property locations, list amenities and apartment features, and include a special coupon.
what i learned:
One piece of paper seems like so much space, but can truly be so little. This assignment reminded me that the strategic use of space is important. Even then, though, it is important to strategically use negative space (in this case, photos) to break up text and showcase offerings instead of writing about them.
