#FreelanceFriday: Wall Mural

Some see an empty wall, and I see a new opportunity. ✨

In our new office, I saw this blank space amongst a long wall of exposed brick. Being the creative type, I wanted to make this wall more than just a piece of plaster. I wanted to make this an inspirational piece for employees, prospects, and renters alike to see and feel inspired by each time they passed. My idea grew into this design:

I loved the idea of today being a new beginning. It’s a fresh start, a clean slate–a day to make big things happen. I could see new residents taking a picture with the keys to their new home here. I could see employees taking their picture here on their first day or on the day of they get promoted. I could see anyone using this wall to make a big announcement to their family, friends, and followers.

While this mural is the one that never was, I’m okay with how it turned out: a chalk wall where we can edit countless times to spread a new and timely message of hope, inspiration, and excitement each and every day.
