Certifiably Awesome

It was recently brought to my attention that my employer does not have a gift certificate template. Although the purchase of gift cards is not something we regularly do (or ever do, to my knowledge), it is a useful piece to have in times like this, when a sponsorship opportunity comes along.

Hence, the creation below:

In here, I created a simple template to be used to send a gift. First, I created the outer gray piece on colored cardstock. The front features the Heart logo above the words, "A Gift For You," so the audience knows that this is a prize or gift of some sort and to hold on to it. The "energy" cut was hand-sliced using an Xacto knife. This design element is repeated throughout our branding, and creates a fun, personal element to the final piece.

Once opened, an additional piece of white cardstock affixed to the gray stock tells what the gift is. In this case, Heart is giving away an Apple Watch Series 2. Details follow underneath of who to contact to receive the prize and more information.

The back of the card provides a brief intro of Heart Technologies, lists contact information, and reinforces brand focus through the line across the bottom and list of services.

These cards were sent off today, but employees who saw these cards enjoyed the dicut aspects and overall sleek look.
